What are these workshops?
There's nothing else quite like it: a fully mobile, genuinely up-to-date class that brings participants into the world of modern music production.
We walk through the whole process of making a song together — from the first idea, through choosing the instruments, to recording the vocals and pulling it all into one piece.
Participants come away understanding how a contemporary track is built, with the basics of audio editing and arrangement under their belt.
In the workshops I'll teach you:
- the basics of making music in a DAW,
- how to build a simple arrangement,
- how to record vocals,
- the fundamentals of editing and mixing in a DAW,
- how to work together on a shared draft of a track.
Sessions are taught in plain language and can be pitched at teenagers, young adults or adults.
